Have something special in mind?

Hazel loves creating one-of-a-kind paintings, and we occasionally open a small number of spaces for commissioned pieces.

A Hazel’s Easel commission is a little different from a traditional art commission. You can give Hazel some inspiration — perhaps a favourite colour palette, a feeling, a place in nature or a few colours you’d love to see together — and then the rest is left to Hazel and her imagination.

At four years old, there’s no sketching, revising or carefully following a brief. That’s part of the magic.

Each piece is created in Hazel’s own distinctive style, using the shapes, patterns, colours and brushstrokes that make her paintings uniquely hers.

How it works

1. Tell us a little about what you'd love

Let us know your preferred canvas size, colours and any inspiration you’d like to give Hazel.

2. Hazel gets painting

We’ll pass your ideas on to our little artist and let her take it from there. The finished artwork will be Hazel’s own interpretation, so part of commissioning her is embracing the surprise!

3. Your original comes home

Once Hazel’s masterpiece is finished and ready, we’ll carefully package it up and send your one-of-a-kind artwork to its new home.

A little note before commissioning

Because Hazel creates freely and intuitively, we can’t guarantee particular shapes, objects, colour placement or an exact finished result. We also don’t ask Hazel to recreate another artist’s work or reproduce one of her previous paintings exactly.

Instead, you’ll receive something that is completely original — created especially for you, through Hazel’s eyes.
